Katrina Salokar is the owner of Best Hospitality Management (BHM) and has over 30 years of experience in restaurants, resorts, hotels, and hospitality.
As the owner, Salokar focuses on business development, consultation, and Quality Assurance in all areas of hospitality service.
Salokar started her career in hospitality management working in family-owned and Fort Myers area restaurants in 1987. Shortly after, she worked directly under Brian Holly and Ann Norton at the Sonesta Sanibel Harbor Resort and Spa. After her impressive stint at the Sonesta, she landed at the Ritz-Carlton Naples on the Gulf. In 1992, she helped lead the Ritz to the prestigious Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award, where she was responsible in part for Total Quality Management/Quality Assurance.
Currently, Katrina owns Paradise Creative Group, a full-service marketing and advertising agency. She founded the agency in 1999 on Sanibel and expanded to Fort Myers Beach and Marco Island. By 2010, her agency was serving 22 accommodations properties in all three destinations for full service marketing advertising and sales including revenue management.
David Foetish comes from a family linage of hoteliers out of Chicago, Illinois.
Foetisch began his career in hospitality on Sanibel Island at West Wind Inn where he started as an auditor and moved on to a reservations manager. He quickly came up in the ranking and capped his 20-year career as the Director of Sales & Marketing.
He worked for many years under Lt. Col. (Ret) Rene Affourtit who was the long-time general manager of Sanibel’s West Wind Inn.
In 2014 Foetisch became the general manager at Paradise Creative Group heading up the Hospitality Department, and supervising revenue management, sales and marketing, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
Today, Foetisch oversees all operations for BHM and serves as the General Manager over Full Management Agreement accounts.
Kristin Huffman has been in property management for the last 15 years bringing with her expertise from her lifelong background in construction and multiple family businesses – Huffman’s Epoxy, Flooring, and Handyman.
Huffman is a true professional in running the administrative operations of any association.
Josh is a driven finance professional with a solid educational background, holding both a BBA and a master’s Degree in Finance. He brings his expertise to bear in various industries.
His proficiency shines in conceptualizing and implementing imaginative, data-driven financial strategies and models. I specialize in optimizing operations, enhancing efficiency, and delivering robust economic analyses. His core competencies encompass financial modeling, qualitative analysis, project management, financial planning and analysis, and effective communication.
Josh produces leading research endeavors, providing data-driven valuations, and furnishing strategic financial insights that consistently contribute to business growth and success.
Paul enlisted in the USAF when he was 18 and served seven years as a bookkeeper and staff accountant. After honorable discharge, he attended night classes at LaSalle University while working full time raising a family of four children.
Paul has over 40 years of experience working as an Accounting Manager and Controller for several large firms. He relocated to Florida in 2015 and has continued helping clients with bookkeeping and other related accounting duties, Paul joined the Paradise Creative Group in 2019 and has been a vital part of the Best Hospitality team helping to oversee HOAs and accommodations on the islands.
With more than 25 years of professional experience, Paula has engineered structures of all sizes and levels of complexity. She performed as Project Manager and Engineer of Record for projects that included major universities, K-12 schools, community buildings, parking structures, churches, industrial facilities, hospitals and single/multi-family residences. In recent years, Paula has used her extensive career experience to specialize in building forensics, evaluating site defects and providing valuable and experienced insight to the cause and origin.
Although structural defect assessment is a major focus for Paula, she is also a Registered Exterior Wall Consultant, experienced in building envelope moisture intrusion and cladding forensics. In addition, Paula provides budget evaluations, pre-construction planning, peer reviews, code evaluations, sustainable structures and life cycle cost analysis, construction observation, field repairs, project quality assurance, permitting and variance consultation, feasibility studies and contract reviews.
At Julie Cromwell & Associates, LLC, Paula continues her professional career by leading our building forensics and restoration department specializing in claims, standard of care and expert witness reporting, owner representation, constructability reviews, structural renovations and restoration.
Chuck Lunsford has been in Internet Marketing, hotel and vacation destination promotions since the Internet was invented. Lunsford helped to engineer some of the first directory style vacation rental portals in our region and now serves as the head of I.T. and Internet marketing for all BHM properties coordinating their internal systems and extranets.
Responsible for customized optimization of client websites for inclusion on major search engines; planning, strategy, market and keyword research; strategic domain acquisitions; web site planning, design, and copy writing.
Responsible for hosting management; server security, monitoring and backups; remote server backups and email management.
Skilled in the use of website promotion tools, traffic monitoring software, website design software, and link building software. Skilled in organic search methods. In-depth knowledge of Web 2.0 strategies including weblog design, development and promotion.

Zach has been designing websites for over a decade. Zach specializes in UX/UI and conversion optimization. Zach enjoys working directly with clients to make their website vision a reality.
Zach has experience with optimization, multiple platform booking engines, and their back-end and integrations.
Jennifer Scott has been involved in graphic design for many years. She specialize in digital media, advertising, print materials, publications, email marketing, social media responsive design, and more.
Scott is a senior-level graphic designer with a BFA from the LSU College of Art + Design’s graphic design program, which is among the largest and most comprehensive in the region. She has the capability of executing projects with minimal direction and a firm understanding of all levels of production from concept to print or digital completion. Scott actively manages all aspects of the project: scope, issues, risks, schedule, deadline, budget, quality, and communication by establishing and building professional relationships with clients at all organizational levels to ensure ongoing client satisfaction and project requirements are clearly defined, met, and understood.
Born into a military family, Marlene traveled throughout the United States until she joined the military herself in October 2003. For six years she served in the United States Air Force as a Non-Destructive Inspection Journeyman, working on multiple airframes. She served at multiple bases, and did a series of deployments overseas for The War Against Terrorism; only to separate in September 2009 with an honorable discharge.
After her career in the military ended, Asta pursued a degree in Graphic Design, starting school at Hillsborough Community College (HCC), only to transfer and finish her education at the University of Tampa (UT). She graduated with honors in December 2013, only to begin her ventures into the professional field of Graphic Design.
After college, she became successful in her desired career, venturing into Graphic Design on a corporate level for national litigation support and later into P.O.S and P.O.P signage. Her expertise has come from experience in branding, marketing, web design, logo creation, color theory, typography, and other areas.
Kristin Hawker is a paralegal who works with BHM, directs on legal matters as they relate to hospitality management.
Hawker also assists with accounting and contracting procedures.
